Smart North America focuses on opportunities for the new energy industry created by a greater awareness of energy and the environment.
The Company was started in 2008 to provide proper training for the emerging energy industry. This included giving instructions for solar panel installations to officials and other entities essential to the implementation of this revolutionary technology. This need was identified as a result of the experience one of the founders, a solar installer who encountered many hindrances which she understood could be overcome through a more knowlegable industry. With no known training available, Smart North America was born to fill the gap by training stakeholders to meet the industry’s needs. Smart North America focuses on creating lasting opportunities for the often overlooked and disenfranchised persons, including veterans, displaced workers , unemployed persons, highly skilled professionals with skill sets that can transfer, inspection departments, first respondeers, academia and industry to name a few.
